Q: What is LMS
A: An integrated library system, also known as a library management system,
is an enterprise resource planning system for a library, used to track items owned, orders made, bills paid, and patrons who have borrowed.
Q: What is the purpose of a library management system?
A: The purpose of a library management system is to manage and track daily work of the library such as issuing
books, return books, due calculations, etc.
Account Settings
Q: What should I do to activate my account?
A: You can activate your account by doing the following steps:
- You must enrolled in current semester
- Proceed to MIS for Student Portal Account
Q: What should I do if I forgot my password?
A: You should reset your password by doing the following steps:
- Go to Login page by clicking on the Login link on top of the main menu.
- Click on the "Click here to reset it" link at the bottom of the login box.
- Type in your current e-mail address or student # and click the Reset button
- A message shall be send to your registered e-mail address
- Click on the reset password button or link.
- Input your new password.
Q: How do I change my current username and/or password?
A: You can't change your username/password
New Account
Q: How do I create a new account?
A: To create a new account by doing the following steps:
- You must be a Student of Abuyog Community College
- Proceed to MIS ask them about your Student Portal Account
Q: Why it says my account is pending?
A: Your account need activation/you are not currently enrolled
Downloading Materials
Q: Why can't i download any research file?
A: Make sure you are logged in to the portal,
if not you may click on the Login link on the top of the main menu.
Uploading Materials
Q: How can I share my own research file?
A: You can share your research file by doing the following steps:
- Login to your current account
- Go to Researches by clicking on the right side of the main menu.
- Click Add New Research
- Fill up some form and attach your research file
- Click on the Submit button.
Q: Why is it my research file is pending?
A: This is being done for fact check purpose to verify if the research file is valid and contain some helpfull information
